Living in alignment with the seasons is a core part of yogic teaching and philosophy. Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, teaches that living in harmony with the seasons is the way to find a sense of harmony within ourselves. Modern living doesn’t allow much space for slowing down, connecting to the seasons and tuning into how we feel. In this workshop, you’ll have the chance to do just that.

In this workshop you will

  • Practice a yoga sequence designed to support wellbeing during the season
  • Learn about the teachings of Ayurveda in relation to staying healthy and well during this season
  • Find your own connection to the season, and small ways to adapt your daily routines to support your wellbeing

Workshop leader Ellen Carr

Ellen is a certified yoga teacher and holistic health coach specialising in Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga. She co-runs The Good Space, a place for alternative learning and radical wellbeing and through her work supports people to truly connect to themselves, those around them and the natural world. She’s personally been practicing living and working in alignment with the seasons for a number of years, and believes this to be a powerful path back to feeling whole and well in our lives.

Ellen has been running seasonal wellbeing workshops since 2018.
