LATEST PODCAST 11/11/22 - Nutrition, stress and burnout with Emma Newlyn (Part 1)

In today’s episode Ellen is joined by returning guest Emma Newlyn. Emma is a naturopathic health coach, yoga teacher, holistic therapist & writer. She specialises in blending ancient wisdom and modern wellness in her Whole Health consultations and coaching with clients, as well as leading educational courses teaching others how to bring Ayurveda, TCM and the latest in modern health science into their lives and professional work. 

Emma runs online courses, in-person women’s retreats and workshops, and Co-leads The Movement 200hr yoga teacher training programme based in Sussex, UK. In this episode Emma talks to Ellen about how what we eat, and what we don’t eat can impact our ability to deal with stress and recover from burnout. As you’ll hear in the episode, this is a hefty topic with lots to cover. So, we’ve decided to make this a multi-episode interview with this being part 1.

Over 4 weeks we will support you to move from feeling stuck, drained by, and frustrated with work to a place where you feel connected to your magic, and to new beliefs around work that serve you and support you to feel good working your magic every day.

Yoga & Meditation Courses/Classes

 

Mindful Vinyasa Flow 5 Class Course

This is a 5 class course of 60 minute classes, each class is themed on one of the yamas or niyamas from yoga philosophy. These are moral and ethical codes to live by, and part of the core of yoga practice within our lives. These classes take you through physical asana practice, whilst introducing you to the yama or niyama theme and offering points for further reflection and integration within your life. These are recordings of classes taught live via Zoom, the classes were mixed ability and various modifications are offered.

Radical Rest Mini Retreat

A 2 hour restorative yoga and guided meditation session, plus an e-book with resources and journaling prompts to support you in making rest more part of your everyday life and wellbeing practice.
